Is anyone currently working on support for the 4.0.x polycom firmware and
if so how is it coming along, and not being a developer is there anything I
can do to assist? There is a feature that we may be needing that is not in
a lower firmware version.

Thanks,

We're working on it for one of the early 4.6 updates.

You can test it in the 4.7 branch (development branch). This would be a
big help.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,

we have a few issues with our development branch (4.7), they'll be fixed
early next week, I'll keep you posted.

4.0.X development is in a pretty advanced state, and we can use any help we
can get in testing.

There is a wiki page outlining the changes one might expect in Polycom
phones use in sipXecs 4.7:
http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/sipXecs/Changes+in+4.7+Provisioning+for+Polycom

Regards,
Cristi
