FTP Backup not working in 4.2

Has anyone tried using a scheduled backup of SipX config/VM to FTP on
4.2? It seems like it is not working correctly. I've tried 3 different
FTP servers. SipX makes the connection as per FTP log but it is not
backing up anything. Refresh of the ftp folder is empty. A local
backup on the SipX server works fine.

I just tried both manual and scheduled backup to ftp (pure-ftpd, freebsd).
Both worked ok for me.

I tried it on Filezilla FTP, on a Netgear NAS built in FTP server and a
Buffalo Terastation. I'm not sure if its because it was an upgrade from
4.04 and not a clean install. I may have some settings incorrect. I'll
give pure-ftpd a try.

Perhaps you can delete the job/disable the function, then re-enable it and
start over.

What do the FTP logs on the remote FTP server show?
I had a junk FTP server (already installed on a workstation for another
app) that wouldn't take the command to create the directories. I
switched to Filezilla, and all is well.

Thanks! I was not able to look at the logs on the FTP NAS devices, but
was able to on Filezilla FTP... and sure enough, it was not able to
create the directories. It was a permissions issue. Rookie mistake.
