SPA504G Questions with Supervised Transfer

I am having trouble with the main transfer function on the SPA504G. The
call is placed on hold when you press the transfer button, you call the
extension you are trying to transfer to and announce the transfer. When you
release the call by hanging up the handset or pressing the handsfree button
the call just stays on hold. A Blind transfer works fine. This is the same
on both the Sipxecs 4.4.0 and the 4.6. Is there a setting known in the
SPA504 to make this work?
