Hello,

I just wanted to thank those of you who helped me to get the firmware
upgraded on my Polycom SoundPoint phones. So I have the phones working
and I am able to call from one phone to another so now I am trying to
set up the AudioCodes MP-108 FXO device so that I can handle incoming
and outgoing calls from the actual phone lines.

I seem to be having troubles with both incoming and outgoing calls.
Some info about what I am running in case this is needed:

- AudioCodes MP-108 FXO with firmware 4.60A.016.003
- sipXconfig 3.3.2 (006527 2006-04-06T22:54:57 hawk)
- Polycom SoundPoint IP 500 SIP with bootrom 2.6.1.0003, app version
1.5.3.0019

- sipXpbx is installed on 192.168.1.3
- AudioCodes gateway is installed on 192.168.1.10

First, I tried adding a gateway through the sipXconfig but it didn't
seem to do anything. When I tried to send the profile, it didn't say
anything about the profile being generated and I checked the status page
and saw nothing to indicate that it tried to create a profile.

I tried to follow the manual configuration of the gateway instructions
(http://sipx-wiki.calivia.com/index.php/HowTo_configure_AudioCodes_SIP_Gateway_with_sipX#Manual_Configuration_of_the_Gateway)
but the screenshots look different from what I have on the AudioCodes
gateway. I suspect that my gateway has a newer firmware then the ones
in the guide on the web site. Anyway, it didn't seem to change anything
anyways.

I do have some error messages that were logged in the gateway log that
might be useful in identifying the problem.

When I call in (as in an incoming call from the PSTN), it rings once
then there is silence and then the dial tone again. I see in the
gateway log the following error:

11d:23h:20m:19s ( lgr_endpoint)(508 ) | (FXOEndPoint) : id=0
Digit Delivery Not Supported [Time: 23:20:19]

When I try to call out from one of the Polycom phones to a local phone
number, I dial 9 and then the phone number. I see in the gateway log
the following errors:

11d:23h:20m:19s ( lgr_endpoint)(508 ) | (FXOEndPoint) : id=0 Digit
Delivery Not Supported [Time: 23:20:19]
11d:23h:22m:18s ( lgr_stk_ses)(509 ) SIPStackSession::HandleStackSetupEV
- NEWCALL: SrcPN=0 [Time: 23:22:18]
11d:23h:22m:18s ( lgr_TrnkGrp)(510 ) !! [ERROR]
#0:TrunkGroup::AllocateEndPoint- Can't find EndPoint for phone number
5149302 [Time: 23:22:18]
11d:23h:22m:18s ( lgr_psbrdif)(511 ) !! [ERROR] AcBoard::GetEndPoint-
Can't find EndPoint for Dest:5149302 Source:204 SourceIp:c0a8017c [Time:
23:22:18]
11d:23h:22m:18s ( lgr_call)(512 ) !! [ERROR] Call::GetEndPoint- Can't
find endpoint for phone number 5149302 [Time: 23:22:18]

So I am not sure how to proceed. I was hoping that setting up the
gateway in sipXconfig would make it easy to get the gateway up and
running but judging from these error messages I have something not right.

If anyone could suggest something I could try or things I could modify
or test I would really appreciate it. The gateway was used by another
company before us so it could be possible that the gateway is setup for
a different configuration. I couldn't see anyway to reset the device
back to the manufacturers settings so while trying to follow the manual
setup I made the necessary changes for our setup but I could have easily
missed something.

Thank you for the help.
